This seems to keep happening so it's best we have some way to deal with them. This system brings those issues into our domain rather than needing to wait for upstream to fix their malformed files.

Subject: [PATCH] Ability to apply mending to XP API
|

This allows plugins that give players the ability to apply the experience

points to the Item Mending formula, which will repair an item instead

of giving the player experience points.
